Deschid acest thread in ideea de a nu-l mai "polua" pe cel al lui w33bbo cu date ce nu tin de FK2-ul sau.
Achizitionata in oct.'10, buburuza functiona decent pentru cei peste 220 kkm inscrisi la bord... Asta daca facem abstractie de zumzetul de pusculita semiplina pe care il emitea din TOATE articulatiile suspensiei. A fost tratata intai de "reumatism" prin inlocuirea bucsaraiei, arcurilor (low) & amortizoarelor (varza), jenti & anvelope, ulei, filtre, etc. A primit servodirectie si a ajuns, dupa 2 luni, sa arate asa
                   
Mi s-a parut interesanta ideea inlocuirii carburatiei cu injectia. Pe bloc motor identic putea fi folosita chiuloasa provenita de la un 1.5 vtec-e, deci a intrat in service pentru asta, DAR pentru ca claxonul fusese inlocuit de fostul proprietar prin artificii de spate de bordei (nici macar bloc) cu un mieunat slab al alarmei, am hotarat ca este necesara montarea unui semnal acustic normal. De aici au inceput surprizele... Instalatia electrica era total artizanala - cuprizand circuite netrecute prin sigurante, sarme si consumatori montati aleatoriu, chiar si cu bucati de cablu de veioza (!!!) -, ceea ce a impus demontarea... Si a inceput balul nepotrivirilor de mufe, cablaje si circuite...

Felicitari pentru tratamentul acordat partii mecanice.
Daca accepti o parere, eu as vopsi-o toata o singura culoare ... alba sau neagra, iar albastrul de pe bord e ca nuca in perete in contrast cu culoarea masinii, e doar o chestie de gust si parere personala. Btw ... imi plac rotile, cred ca sunt foarte bune pentru drumurile din romania.
Sa te bucuri de masinuta sanatos si sa mai pui la bord inca de 2 ori atata.

Multumesc pentru apreciere..
Va fi tratata ca o gheisa demna de respect, asta insemnand refacerea tenului sau gingas.
Asa am primit-o de la fostul proprietar, probabil ca lui ii placea... Bine-nteles ca nu va ramane bicolora (si/sau albastra la interior) si vor disparea de pe ea nonJDM-urile. As dori-o neagra mat, but it's a long way to Tipperrary...
Acum insa este dezmembrata serios atat la interior pentru refacerea instalatiei electrice si a integritatii bordului (lumini si turometru), schimbarea fetelor de usi cu introducerea geamurilor si oglinzilor electrice, cat si in compartimentul motor pentru imbinarea blocului cu noua chiuloasa + + + +
Asa ca arata impudic de goala

In sfarsit, a grait! Masina va ramane alb cu negru, insa in cu totul alta configuratie, una decenta si cu bun gust sper. Altfel sa te duci TU cu ea pe unde trebuie sa-i schimbi talonul, ca eu nu-mi misc derrière-ul!

Am editat a doua oara, ca nu ne-am inteles la imagini. Deci ASA arata cheala:

Imi place sa vad ca inca una a fost salvata de la dezastru. Nu vreau sa jignesc pe nimeni dar numai la varf de munte unde oul kinder da bine pe antena am mai vazut asa tiganisme.

Pentru culoare eu sugerez un Pirates black the la Honda(daca mai este interes pentru poze cu masina in cauza am sa mai pun), arata negru cand vremea e inchisa si un mov inchis in soare/lumina Icon_cool

Nu jignesti pe nimeni, Yula! Rollinglaugh
Cel putin pe niciunul dintre noi. Masina a fost aleasa pentru ca motorul si cutia erau in stare de functionare nesperat de buna pentru varsta ei. Ce-i drept, nu ma asteptam sa fie chiar atat de mare dezastrul, dar, cand va fi gata complet, macar vom avea cu ce ne lauda... before and after, you know? Icon_smile

Oricum, pana sa ajunga sa fie ce trebuie este ENORM de mult de lucru. Nu stiu daca in 2011 se termina cu toate, iar asta ma imbufneaza un pic, nefiind extrem de rabdator din fire cu fiarele.

O sa fie mult de lucru dar stiu ca rezultatul va fi pe masura, la fel si satisfactia. Eu personal o sa tin un ochi pe thread-ul asta sa vedem cum evoluaza.

Cat despre piese... unele vor mai fi si reconditionate, ceea ce va scadea considerabil costul final. Maine am de gand sa ma prezint la ASKO sa mai stau de vorba cu lumea si sa vad ce pot lua la mana pentru a reconditiona.

Mi-a venit o idee si sper sa ma poata ajuta careva: tetierele cu care vine echipat EG-ul sunt mult prea inclinate in spate. Dorinta mea ar fi sa le pot indoi barele, imediat cum ies din "corpul" tetierei, pentru a le inclina in fata. Daca nu ma pot ajuta baietii de la ASKO (greu de crezut, dar hai sa zicem) cum as putea face chestiunea asta in asa fel incat sa nu le distrug cu patent/alte unelte daunatoare?

Avem o problema in alegerea vopselei. Credeam ca ne-am hotarat la negru mat, insa parca nu mai suntem chiar atat de convinsi acum. Asadar, cine ne ajuta cu ceva impresii si, eventual, cu poze?

Chair ma gandeam ca nu se cumpara nimic de la dezmembrari. Cu tetierele iti trebuie ceva salid sa le prinzi ca e destul de gros fierul ala.

Pirates black de la honda, nu pot sa vad pozele asa ca pun tot postul omului

copying and pasting this from my other forum..

In general the paintwork wasn’t great, surface rust on arches, stone chipped front end, paint flaking in various places, not up to my standard. So off it went to my cousin terry at KRCR. After thinking about what should be done I decided to have a full respray instead of just a couple panels painted, and since It turned into a full respray I started to think of different colours, and that’s when terry came up with the idea of pirates black. I thought it would be perfect since it is such a nice colour, its still a factory Honda colour and also integras didn’t come in pirates black so it will be a one off integra. Also decided to put the standard bonnet back on for the respray.
So since it was going to be off the road for a while I had to find some sort of runaround. I ended up with this, suppose it will do the job..

The deal was for me to do the stripping, prep work, wet sanding, polishing etc and terry would do the painting, although he did help me quite a lot during the whole process to be fair lol! Now for the pictures Icon_smile

First sight of the paint in sun, rolled out straight after painting, hasn’t been flatted or polished yet. The finnish was unreal! I suppose terry isn’t too bad with the spray gun Icon_razz

I then flattened the whole car and polished back up with g6. Here is the car flattened and the wing polished

I then went over the whole car with g10. After this I got some menzerna polishes since they were non silicone and the car was then given another 3 stages of polishing. Rolled out into the sun the check the colour again

Then it was time to start building the car up again. Terrys ghetto brackets to hold the back windows in place once they were stuck in lol

Honda badges and stickers were ordered through Honda. Thought this was quite good, on the left were the ones on the car originally, in the middle are ebay specials, and to the right are new genuine Honda ones

I then thought it would be good to have a few touches round the car. Terry came up with the ‘purple’ redline idea and I thought it would look cool, and a nice touch so had the vinyl made up and put on the speedo

Theres a few other vinyls still to be put on but they are still being made.
While the car was there I also had a few things done that I wanted for a while. I took the wiper at the back off and got a honda blanking button for the whole, the scuttle panel and front wipers were painted the freshen them up, behind both bumpers were given a quick lick of paint, and the car also got 6k HID’s fitted, new main beams, led number plate lights at the back, and clear indicators for the front.
And that was basically it, after about 5 weeks it was ready to be rolled out.

I then took the car home and gave it a good clean, including arches, wheels taken off and cleaned, interior and up to my clean standard again. I then meet my cousin that night and we took a few photos

Over the moon with the results, could not be happier.. and can’t thank my cousin enough for doing this for me. If anyone needs paintwork done I could not recommend him enough, really top job and anyone will say that that’s seen the car close up!
I was planning on letting the car go but its not going anywere now after the amount of work that went into it. Im now going to keep it and have a lot more plans for it including:
- Get photos taken of it by gee 
- Coilovers (probably meisterR)
- New set of wheels, still thinking so give me ideas 
- Undersealed

S-au luat si se vor mai lua componente in regim second hand, insa nimic din categoria chedere/garnituri/semi-consumabile. Ma bate gandul sa ii schimb si scaunele, insa nu-s 100% sigur. As opta pentru o retapitare cu alcantara intr-o culoare cat mai apropiata de cea din fabrica. De fapt, pe interior, mi-as dori sa ii pastrez pe cat posibil aspectul (culorile) stock, evident cu un refresh sanatos.

Masina a intrat oficial de astazi in proces de reconditionare si rebuild. Am aflat cu ocazia asta ca se va ocupa de ea o persoana care a reconditionat Lamborghini Miura si alte masini care au scris istorie. Pozele vor veni in curand, cel mai probabil dupa weeknd, cand ne vom prezenta la service cu chef de munca pentru reconditionarea tampoanelor si a altor elemente din compartimentul motor, precum si a noului rezervor. Sper numai sa nu ne goneasca prea devreme de acolo.

In functie de ce-mi iese din maini sambata, voi posta si un tutorial.

Iata niste poze trase acum cateva zile la tinichigerie, plus motorul dat jos si niste goodies-uri (bord nou, chedere noi, rezervor nou etc etc). Momentan ambalate. Luni sper sa revin cu imagini din timpul procesului de reconditionare.

Da, absolut tot. Plus reconditionarea tuturor elementelor din compartimentul motor si de pe sub ea (tampoane, timonerie cu bucsile aferente, brate, bascule, etrieri cu upgrade la frane de VTi etc). Se va izola absolut peste tot si asa mai departe. Apoi interiorul: toate plasticele, bordul, inlocuire scaune (probabil de DelSol), retapitare scaune/bancheta, portbagaj, chedere, posibil si mocheta. Probabil se va ranforsa si plafonul, pentru ca nu i-a placut foarte tare tinichigiului cum lansa.

Si, in cateva luni, incepem cu finishing touches: bare de rigidizare superioare si inferioare fata si spate, un SRI, probabil schimbare evacuare complet, jante, oglinzi electrice, poate un A/C...

Idei gasesc multe, doar timp si bani sa am Icon_smile
