That looks just like my '84 Prelude! I loved that car. I bought it six years ago for $600 with 65,000 mi and it passed inspection without any work. Bought it from a coworker who got offered $300 by a Honda dealer to trade it in. I doubled that and bought it without even seeing it. Someone ran into me and totaled it. I got $1800 from the insurance co, but wish I still had that car.

Similar story, only mine was my first car. 1987 Blue Stick Shift. One of the last of the dual carb'd ones too. (I remember because that's when my dad started teaching me about carbs). Paid 1k for it in 2000(1) in high school and loved that car to death. Couldn't. Kill. It.
Almost went into the army and sold it to a buddy of mine who wanted it but when things fell threw, I ended up trying to buy it back. No can do. Made me said but buddy, that car was a fun.
He went off and blew the motor. Best grand I've ever spent.

My favorite story time;
Senior year with a wad of cash for prom in my wallet, saw a white '87 2.0si prelude with $500 written on the windshield. Without even looking inside, I said "i'll give you 50$ to not sell it to anyone". Brought a friend's brother who was a mechanic to take a look at it, I went to pop the hood and realized the mileage. . . . 215,000 miles. FUUUUUU the brother, however, looked at me and said "if you're not buying it, I am." So I paid the guy the extra $450 and drove it away.
It'd end up lasting a 4,000 mile trip and another 15,000 miles with nothing but a downpipe, a replaced oil/fuel filter and a replaced valve cover gasket.
It started being preeettttyyy ghetto at that point so I parked it 1/2 a block down the road of a dealer and said "The guy on the other side of town said he'd give me $1000 for it. He dropped a '98 Civic down for the trade without seeing it.
I miss that car every day. :/
