am apucat sa vad si eu ultima sesiune de wtcc in valencia, simpatica cursa insa parca e prea ca la razboi, daca vrei sa treci de mine iesim amandoi in decor Icon_smile cel putin asta am vazut la Menu ieri.

iar in BTCC cu hondele in actiune se pare ca a fost un mic dezastru in cursa 3

Se practica asta in BTCC, daca te uiti la runda precedenta se vede si acolo ce "imbranceli" si-au tras.

Numai bine am ce viziona mai tarziu la o doza de bere Icon_biggrin

am vazut azi a doua cursa de wtcc de la slovakia ring, circuit care solicita asa de tare pneurile, in special pe cele ale celor cu tractiune fata ca se tocesc pana explodeaza in timpul cursei.
Cam lipsita de batalii cursa cel putin in fata si deja ma enerveaza chevroleturile astora, nush ce draq is asa bune Icon_smile

da asa e ... vad ca peste tot sunt problemele cu uzinele care nu prea se mai implica direct. Oricum astia de la chevi sunt cam singuri pe aici, nush cat farmec are competitia asa. Am inteles ca si bmw ar mai avea ceva sprijin gen uzina dar nu total, insa bugetul e de privat.

Nu stiu ce se intampla cu wrc, n-am mai vazut si eu niste rezumate de 100 de ani, cica nu se mai trasnmite, ziceau astia azi pe digi. probleme cu bani drepturi de tv

pai asta e problema celor de la eurosport, incet incet au ingropat motorsportul. sa transmiti rezumatele irc si wrc noaptea tarziu dupa biliard....da-o-n pana mea.

o vreme l-am tot injurat pe Mosley (ex pres. FIA) insa acum s-a dust totul in alta directie. o multime de circuite din europa sunt in prag de faliment dar F1 se muta in orient la mama dracului. costul drepturilor TV depasesc orice imaginatie si-n ziua de azi putin platesc pt motorsport. prefera doar fotbal si ..... biliard...
asta nu face decat interesul general fata de motorsport sa scada, conditii in care e deja scazut...

....regulamentele si "downgrade - ul" dau peste cap tot mersul si IMHO nu au redus costurile.

in alta orine de idei maine sunt la Mugello sa vad testele de F1 Icon_peace

Honda unveils HR412E, ‘the heart' of its Civic WTCC racing car


Tokyo, July 27th 2012 - Honda today unveiled the new racing engine HR412E to power its Civic WTCC race car in the FIA World Touring Car Championship.

Developed at Honda's R&D centre in Tochigi, Japan, the HR412E is a completely bespoke 1.6 litre 4 cylinder direct injection turbo-charged petrol engine, fully conforming to FIA regulations for the WTCC.

Commenting on the announcement, Daisuke Horiuchi, the WTCC Development Project Leader at Honda R&D said:

"In the continuous technological development of an internal combustion engine, the thermal efficiency is the essential key for improvement. And a race engine is not an exception. This HR412E was born from such thought process: aiming for higher efficiency."

"We believe the innovations that have led to this revolutionary engine will also lead to benefits beyond the race track, helping us to further increase the efficiency of our road car engines."


The engine has been delivered to the Honda Racing Team JAS workshop in Milan, Italy, where the Civic WTCC is being developed, and successfully passed all initial tests.

The news follows the recent naming of Honda's works team drivers in the the FIA World Touring Car Championship - Italian Gabriele Tarquini and Portuguese Tiago Monteiro.

Honda will enter the WTCC as early as this season with one car. Behind the wheel of the Civic WTCC will be ex-Formula One driver Tiago Monteiro, who will compete in three races, starting at Suzuka in October 2012. Honda R&D and Mugen will provide trackside support to the team.

Both drivers will compete in the full FIA World Touring Car Championship in 2013.
