o admisie simpatica cu ITB Icon_twisted

With the long trumpets and a 2.1 motor we have it made 290bhp and 210ftlb! Icon_twisted
Torque curve is like a supercharged car. I mapped it TPS and it drives fine. Bit lumpy like but sound is insane!

To fit that airbox you also need the shorter 33mm trumpets so torque is going to drop a bit. Hopefully have it back on the dyno very shortly.

Chiar ieri discutam cu un prieten de ITB - daca stii mai multe baga aici niste detalii, plusuri si minusuri, cam pe unde se situeaza fata de un compresor de exemplu, nu trage mizerie in motor (de asta mi-e cel mai frica), etc.

pai asta ii pui cai-ul in gura si aia e Icon_smile

sa puna astia rezultatele pe dyno cu trompetele mai mici si vedem atunci exact ce si cum. problema o reprezinta costurile, pentru ca fiind Toda costa fara numar. Eu n-am putut sa deschid link-ul astora de la TDI dar citeam pe forum asa ceva: So it's just a carbon box for a grand, then £2K+ for bodies.... Bit extreme....Icon_yikes

Sper ca sunt asa pentru este inca ceva foarte nou si nu prea a mai facut nimeni asta si se mai domolesc dupa.
Raspunsul la costuri din partea celor de la TDI a fost:

To run Jenvey's for instance ....which are half the cost of the Todas you need to modify the water pump, fabricate some sort of throttle linkage, supply MAP and TPS ports as well as supply a modified TPS sensor.
You obviously don't Need the airbox but it's a nice thing to have.

These Toda ones come totally plug and play. No messing with everything.

ITB's nu sunt de rulat zi de zi, nu sunt foarte usor de reglat si mapat.

Pretul nu o sa scada foarte mult pentru ca sunt foarte complexe si un set bun costa bani grei, acum 2ani am vazut ITB's Toda second in Japonia pentru 1mie €
Honda nu arde uleiul, il foloseste.

depinde mult prin ce fel de zone geografice te misti, sunt atat de extreme incat tu poti mapa ITB-urile pentru Sibiu de exemplu si cand ajungi aproape de Constanta sa fi nevoit sa mapezi iar cu anumite riscuri ca masina sa mearga ca la Sibiu .

Intra foarte multe in calcul atunci cand se monteaza ITB's. Aseara am vazut si eu pozele din primul post, sunt sexy rau Icon_biggrin
Cand o sa ajung la laptop am sa postez despre un ek de aici cu itb' cu peste 300CP
Honda nu arde uleiul, il foloseste.
