Honda sources told Autocar that the new engine would have ‘more than 260bhp’. Honda engineering sources said that, at this early stage, ‘some consideration’ was being given to equipping the Type-R with rear-wheel steering, an old Honda technology that the company is keen to revive in updated form.
The 1.6-litre HR412E turbocharged engine used in the new WTCC Civic race car is said to be providing inspiration for the Type-R engine. A single Civic WTCC car has entered the last three rounds of the 2012 global series, but Honda will compete in the whole of the 2013 series with two cars.

De fapt, la a doua gandire, arata ca civicul meu usor imbunatatit la design.

mai , e faina in poza aia ca e foto cu obiectiv cu efect. am vazut masina aia de aproape. e hidoasa, generatia precedenta are un design mai placut.

Asa-i ca au dus-o spre Acura aia mica si noua? Care ziceam noi ca e faina si ce bine ar fi daca ar arata si sedanul asa? Dar nu, ei batman batman, facem "Hyundai"
E bine macar ca nu asteapta 3 ani sa ii faca facelift si se misca repede, cred ca asa mai reduc din pierderi, sigur vanzarile scadeau rau de tot daca pastrau actualul design.

Vad ca zice ca jantele sunt pe 15". Nu cred ca ar pune anvelope mai late de 205, poate chiar un 195.
Si mie mi se pare interesanta motorizarea asta. Cred ca se preteaza mai bine pentru oras decat un 1.8 i-VTEC.
